About Reese

Reese Leyva is a writer and poet whose first experience of magic was reading her older brother’s short story Why the Wolf Howls At the Moon in elementary school. She is also a mother to two divine humans who inspire her daily with her great capacity for joy.

Her writings have been published by The Urban Howl and Her Heart Poetry, and her poem Remember, Woman has inspired passion and ferocity in women all across the globe.

She lives in the PNW with her husband and two young children where they enjoy an abundance of rain, summer fruit picking, and fresh air.
